The Elegant
Polykasti on the ground floor has a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with a shower and a washing machine, a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen with a dining table and chairs, and a living room with a fireplace, sofas and coffee tables. An internal staircase leads up to the first floor where there is a bathroom with shower, a bedroom with 2 single adjustable beds and a bright and sunny oak loft, equipped with a desk and a sofa bed.

As mentioned in the Odyssey, Nestor (the son of Neleus), the king of Pylos, with his wife Eurydice (the daughter of Klymenos) had 7 sons and a last-born daughter, whose name was Polykasti. When Telemachus went to Pylos to ask Nestor about the fate of his father, Ulysses, and after sacrificing to the goddess Athena before the farewell dinner, he was bathed by the beautiful Polykasti herself, who anointed him with perfumed oil and garbed him in his tunic and chlamys. This innocent practice of that Heroic era, that is for a princess to bathe a foreigner, signified a love affair. According to Hesiodus, after 9 months Polykasti bore Telemachus a son named Persepolis.
